H.O.P.E.(For All) exists as a Christian ministry to assist God's people without sufficient resources to provide for their own basic needs in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City and the Appalachian region.
H.O.P.E. (For All) is committed to accomplishing its mission primarily by engaging compassionate volunteers of all ages, from all walks of life, in meaningful and productive Christian service. It seeks not to compete with but to support and work with other groups/churches/agencies especially those embracing similar Christian values.
"Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." - 1 John 3:18
Services include:
- Providing school supplies primarily to local schools where personnel discreetly release to students without the means to obtain them.
- Collecting and distributing basic needs (e.g. clothing, shoes, bedding/linens, household items), including infant items, directly to citizens living locally and in the Appalachian region.
- Releasing support like clothing, shoes, household and baby needs directly to other charitable organizations, especially those with similar Christian purpose, which use them to benefit families in need through their established programs.
- Making basic furniture, kitchen and household items available through our *Turning Houses into Homes* program to benefit families leaving shelters, homeless situations or other situations to reestablish living on their own.
- Allowing the fortunate among us with excess/unneeded useable items cluttering our homes opportunity to share, through H.O.P.E., with their neighbors in need thereby providing benefits to the giver and receiver and the environment by keeping useable items from the landfill.
- Providing great buys of treasurers at our periodic yard sales open to all including opportunity for dignified purchasing of low-cost necessities to those with limited income.
"A friend loves at all times." - Proverbs 17:17
Strong Towers is proud to continue our partnership with H.O.P.E.(For All) as we assist with those people living "in the outer band of society".
