The Father was glorified through a several month project that enabled Strong Towers and many Volunteers to serve residents at a Rehab Center. This Rehab Center was gracious to allow Strong Towers to give, pray, serve and administer to their patients on December 25th, 2011. This Center houses the homeless and very poor; which attract little visitors if any. God opened the door months earlier and Strong Towers followed as much as God allowed. On Christmas morning, the Love of Christ was shared between the patients, volunteers and staff. Through prayer, giving gifts, materials and meals (The Cross), the Lord was glorified. As Strong Towers is led by the Holy Spirit to precious people in need, we see and learn how God uses His servants to fulfill His purpose. What follows is a little story of how this all came together.
A volunteer was gracious to give up her home while multiple shipments (which totaled 125 gifts) arrived through December. Eight additional volunteers helped by writing Christmas cards. Other volunteers provided snacks and non perishable food. Each patient received a gift, card and a meal. The Lord provided! Jehovah-Jireh (The Lord Will Provide).

Supplies were loaded into Strong Towers transportation.

After a few trips, all the supplies were delivered to the Center; seen here on December 25th, 2011.

The Strong Towers team helped the Center to distribute the gifts in the Activities Room.

Patients arrived to find gifts, cards and meals. It was a blessing for all.

A staff member helped a patient open a gift, showing the Love of Christ.

Many patients have no home and many live at the Center with no visitors.

Romans 5 (NIV) ~Peace and Hope~
1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
In Christian Ministry, the Holy Spirit will guide us to others that are suffering. The suffering of others come near us, and "to us". This directly impacts our lives. This connection between the people we administer to is priceless and described in Romans 5. In addition, Isaiah 9:6-7 prophesied the birth of Jesus Christ in 700 B.C.. Isaiah 9:6 (NIV) "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, ..."
Strong Towers would like to thank all the volunteers for the assistance, distribution, supplies, time, and prayers during this project.
